Because state funding alone is rarely enough to meet local expectations, communities commonly adopt parcel taxes to help maintain strong academic programs, attract and retain excellent teachers, and keep class sizes manageable. Measure H continues Lafayette’s long-standing approach of locally investing in our schools to protect educational quality.
